Before You Give

Who can contribute

  • Only individuals who normally live in Ontario may contribute, using their own money
  • Corporations, unions, and other organizations cannot contribute
  • The contribution limit is $1,200 to this campaign for the 2026 municipal election
  • Contributions are not tax-deductible
  • Every contribution gets a receipt, issued after the election under Ontario's Municipal Elections Act
